it has been a fucking hot and sweaty morning. only 0955hrs and i'm already irritated and needing to scream a big fat RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
it started out with not having enough sleep. coz i only got home at 2am.
it didn't help that i was feeling (and am still feeling) unappreciated.
then some freaking woman stomped on my foot on the mrt. she was all nice and comfy in the seat in front of me (me standing), away from the fucking smelly man who was standing behind me and who looked so gross i wouldn't want to touch him with a million-foot pole.
the woman was talking on the phone, shi-shi-shua-shua-ing away in cantonese. nearing city hall, she stood up. being nice, i made way for her. then the mrt did it's usual jerk when it reached the station, and she took a step back, her freaking heel stomping right onto my poor left foot.
she is NOT light lor! plus, she had the cheek to turn back with a "huh? i stepped on you ah?" look after she OBVIOUSLY heard my pained "FUCK!"
she just said a flippant "sorry" to the air around me, then continued cantonese-ing away on her fucking phone while exiting the mrt.
RAAAAHHH!!!!!! i HATE people like that!!! it would never have happened if you were not on the phone and concentrating on keeping your balance instead. it would have been better if you actually gave a genuine apology. how can you not know if you've stepped on some poor human's living flesh!??!
may a thousand elephants stomp on her feet.
i exited at raffles place. coz i had to find hsbc building. coz i need the company's trustees to issue a cheque for me, and in order for them to do that, they need the ORIGINAL invoice. and i cannot mail it to them coz it's urgent. so it had to be BY HEN BY ZENN.
yes i have the address. but stupid me didn't look in the map for the exact location. i thought i was clever when i saw "exit b - hsbc building" and followed it. i came out to open air, and saw oub, uob, ocbc, citibank, abn amro, dbs...but no hsbc in sight.
i asked a lady at the oub info counter, and she was friendly, but no help at all - she just pointed in a general direction and said "just walk straight and you'll see it".
i walked straight and i didn't see no hsbc.
in the end, i gave my cousin (who works at abn amro) a call. he so sweet, he came down and walked me to hsbc (which was in the opposite direction).
we both got hot and sweaty in the humid morning heat.
it's only 10am. there're only more of such nonsenses to come.
monday blues indeed. and green and purple and grey and black. (eh, sounds like the delta goodrem visit australia rainbow song...except darker...and with more angst...)
