amy - my babe from melbourne - was in town with her folks yesterday for a short visit to singa-land. she did the touristy things - visited the merlion, had a 3-hour buffet lunch at raffles hotel, walked along the singapore river, and naturally, ended up in orchard.
i met up with her after work where she regaled edmund and me with melb tales, and updated us on all the naughty things our mates back in oz have been up to.
ed had to leave early in order to catch his $4,000 business class flight to papua new guinea (for work stuffs) and we were so busy catching up that we missed out on taking some photos with him.
but ah hock - his sensor's very good, could tell i was in the accompany of a new chica, so he rung up - was in the vicinity and gallantly came to be our escort (1 half ang moh male escort, free, call me for bookings *conditions apply*). heh
we walked about heeren a bit, then to paragon where amy had arranged to meet her parents, but not before we passed by some neoprint stations and popped in for some kawaii-ness!
gota love that first neoprint shot (top left) - we were unprepared and the camera couldn't wait. plus everything was in japanese so we're all confused and trying to figure things out. neoprint machines are so complicated these days! *feels like an old foggy* haha
and yeap, that unfamiliar face is my sweet amy (don't let her innocent look fool you - she plays a mean game of baddy!).
check out the uber retro pink and green cushies at the neoprint station! and hock concentrating so hard on his art & craft project cutting the neoprint sheet up. haha
we had a slow dinner at spageddies after amy left, then walked our super-full tummies to borders for some late-night reading before heading home.
a night out catching up with old friends and having a patient listener send me home - it's a sweet way to close a hectic day. =)
