potential terrorist attack/s thwarted?

nine people were arrested in melbourne, and seven in sydney, after the aussie police raided areas in vic and nsw, foiling possible jihad (or "holy war") plans to kill innocent men and women in australia.

one of those arrested in melbourne was muslim cleric abu bakr - a familiar name that often appears in aust news associated with radical islamic ideas.

computers, as well as substances believed to be chemicals for explosives, were seized during the raids.

if there's one, there will be more. hope whatever the terrorists're planning really have been foiled and haven't merely been postponed.
