my comp's plagued by spyware, all coz of one little extractor (or something) file that i downloaded. argh. i'm now doing all the cremating of my files, in preparation for the demise of my lappie. reformating is going to be such a chore, and i just know that i'll lose something along the way. RAH!!!!!!
anyway, my event went pretty well on monday even though there were some hiccups here and there. i'm just glad it's over. we didn't raise loads of funds though - that was disappointing seeing that our very select invitees were all rich and famous. oh well.
it's mum's birthday that day too, so i headed home after the event. even though her birthday was technically over since we got back past midnight, we had a tiny celebration with a too-sweet cake from cedele (coz da paolo wasn't able to get the cake i wanted out in time).
sis' present was hilarious - she printed and cut out that old passport photo of mum's, and made a pseudo powderbox that could have been from the 60s or something:

yah, i went wild with my black eyeliner - all in the spirit of halloween. *grin*
