unfortunately for some, i'm not dead. yet.

so sorry to disappoint, but it happens when cowards say that they'll go kill themselves. and also when friends stretch out their helping hands, and give hope.

thanks especially to umber! for so patiently guiding this computer idiot with the scavenger. i still haven't been able to retrieve any docos, but thank you. i owe you all the pings we spoke about =)

anyway, i'm done with mourning for my lost documents - will just have to work doubly hard to try to piece everything back together, fix up new databases, and get all my finance stuffs updated and in order again. may have to trawl through the dusty files containing the past 2 years' financial matters, and re-key everything in. *moan* that's for being dumb, i guess. =/

but enough of the doom and gloom.

met up with edmund today for a yummy dinner at this jap restaurant he got to know of from someone's blog. and it's a gem. tucked away in goldhill plaza, this place has a rather camouflaged entrance that opens up to a tiny inside that can only seat, at most, 30 people.

we sat at the bar, and had full view of the baldy master slicing up our yummy sashimi. his assistant's a rather good-looking chap who handed us a delicious appetizer of unagi wrapped in egg. i was a tad disappointed when the guy started speaking in mandarin though...kinda spoilt the jap fantasy i had going on haha

edmund takes blurry photos. and i'm taller than his shoulder only coz i was standing on my tippy-toes!

for mains, he had the scrumptious cod set, while i ordered the tender beef. both came with miso soup, beancurd in sesame sauce, rice, and fruits.

we headed to novena square after, for a bit of grocery shopping - coz that's what melbourne students do when they have nowhere to go *grin* i helped edmund stock up on fake-looking asparagus, and a really healthy combination of full-fat cream, smoked salmon, calcium bread, chocolate peanut butter, and two tubs of ben & jerry's!!!

then it was to his place we went! and we pounced on the ben & jerry's once we stepped into the house haha

mmm *smack lips* ended up lazing the night away on his super comfy designer couch, and watched behind enemy lines which turned out to be a pretty good movie even though it was quite a typical woohoo-america-wins-war show. owen wilson has a really weird nose.

oh, and look what i found while channel-surfing:

how long has it been since you saw this!?!? think tcs was still sbs sbc when i last chanced upon this multi-colored circle on telly! =p

hooyah! i'm back with a vengeance! muahaha!
